I tend to see this organized different ways. I run company command
units (a pair of tanks and a APC or MICV) as a small separate
platoon. I've also seen them run as individual command (as in table)
for scenarios where you had three companies, each having its own
command element, _and_ a battalion command element. When one of the
company elements bought the farm, that company counted as having lost
an on table command unit (associated confidence losses etc). The same
effect was the case for the battalion command unit's loss.

I've got more than enough. I always seem to have an extra tank or
something left over to make a company command platoon. Usually it is
comprised of the mortar platoon (detached typically), a Fire Support
Team vehicle (sometimes detached and sometimes not, just like in real
life), a Company Co track, an XO track and a PSG's track (usually
detached and running around with the mortar platoon).
Typically they just work out as an extra platoon that is smaller.
