I added the average damages for half each of a B3-1 and a PT-1:

Hm. Looks a bit overpowered to me - the only range at which it doesn't
beat the current human range 30+ single-arc weapons mass for mass is
the 0-6 band, and from 12mu and beyond its advantage is very
impressive. I'd start playtesting it with Mass 3, or even 4 if you add
the 30-36 range band.

If an automatic beam die counts as an "automatic hit", then all the
normal beams, pulsers and stingers get automatic hits as well with
every die they roll... yet most people don't object against them :-/
