[FT] PDS as direct fire weapons

One we just ran into in a game,

May a PDS fire at a ship directly to the aft if the
ship has fired its main drives?

We played that it may since it may fire at fighters
to the aft, but couldn't find anything on it in the
rules.	Of course this would bring up the type one
beams...
