I thought some of you might be interested in a new
PBEM utility I've been working on. I've used the
Cyberboard application to develop a Full Thrust game
box. This allows Full Thrust games to be played
without a GM, with a full graphical interface, and
encapsulated die roller. In short your FT game table
transported to the computer for PBEM play. You can
see a screen shot of a game in progress at:

What is Cyberboard, and how does it work? Cyberboard
is an excellent piece of freeware originally developed
for the board gaming community. It allows you the
freedom to design any sort of game that is played on a
board and uses some sort of pieces. During game play
each players turn is recorded step by step, and then
shared with his opponent, text messages and die rolls
(from d2 to d100) may be inserted at any time.

I have played the following with Cyberboard, all very
successfully and with much enjoyment, Steve Jackson's
OGER, Avalon Hill's Starship Troopers, Spanish
Fury-Siege, and DBR. Quite a few games have been
developed for use with Cyberboard, numbering in the
hundreds, perhaps the best resource is the PBEM
Emporium or the Yankee Air Pirates site. Cyberboard
is available at
