Thanks.

I'd interpreted it as every time you roll a six, however, these results
can
be quite spectacular. I was playing last night, I fired a 4 die beam
volley at a hyperion (-3 penalty), rolled a 3,5,6,6, re-rolled got 6,5
then
a 2. Needless to say the hyperion was fairly gutted by this. I've no
problems with this as I envisaged the HBWs as very powerful easily
capable
of doing this, thats why I was happy with the EFSB compared to the
anaemic
HBWs in B5 Wars.

I'd seen this, I think from reading the text it carries one squadron
like
the Porcupine.

The liner has weak weapons in B5Wars too so I have no problems with
that,
though I agree with you on the only one drive for the freighter, I'd
personally extend that to all civilian ships to set them apart from
military ones.

I was thinking about alternatives to the EF ships. The earlier fighters
(tigers, fox and the first fury) could be represented by using the
Narn/Centauri/raider sections on the fighter chart when fighting latter
two
furies, reverting back to the fury section for fighting alien
ships/raiders.	I was also thinking of the pre-refit Hyperions, I think
droping the HBWs and replacing them with Pulse 3s. In addition I don't
know what others feel on this but it is very odd to me that the
Hyperions
carry two fighter groups, it just doesn't seem right to me so I've
reverted
to using only one group.

I've a couple of questions to add also (possibly for Jon):

If a fighter screen is engaged and defeated can the ship's
interceptors/PDAF fire on the attacking fighters, and if not why not ?

What is the arc of anti-fighter batteries, interceptors have a definite
arc
but it appears not AFB ?

Stuart.
