There are certainly issues here on the animal rights front (if you
subscribe to that), but considering the environmental catastrophe that a
mine hitting a tanker could cause, one has to wonder if anything that
keeps
the Straights clear of mines isn't justified.....

Now, if these were uplifts, they could probably disarm the mine too.
