OK, hands up: how many would like GZG to cast and sell metal bases
separately? I'm pretty sure Jon has a production mould for a metal
"escort
ship base" (same size as the half-inch SFB bases, but flat and designed
to
take a normal GZG pole instead of the stubby SFB one) - at least he cast
up
a hundred of those bases for me when I ran out of SFB ones, and I kinda
doubt that he did this from pre-production moulds! <g> - but I don't
think
that it would be very difficult to get KR's permission to start casting
the
Geo-Hex ones. Or make a full-sized flat metal hex base, for that matter
- I
like the way the hex-shape makes it easier to turn the ship.
(What? Putting pressure on Jon to make him expand his lines? Nah... ;-)
