Subject: FTJava V0.12 released & next release plans
Version V0.12 of FTJava has been released and is available from the
download section of the FTJava website. It also includes new stuff
from the feedback we received at the ECC convention.

New enhancements include:
Strike the colors.
A player can strike the colors on their ship by ordering 'strike'
in the plot movement orders. The ship can no longer manuever,
activate FTL, or activate weapons. Striking the colors has also
been added as an optional fourth Core system.
Missile lockon light.
If a ship is being targeted by lockon of a salvo missile, a red
icon will light up on the weapons targeting display. (Added due
to an ESU Warsaw destroyer that didn't see the last salvo fired
by Indy.)
UI Enhancements.
Drag and scroll the Starmap.
Click zoom-in and zoom-out.
Information dialogs for orders submission and file retrieval.
New variant weapons.
Long and short range pulse torpedos and heavy beams from Noam's
weapons archives.
Next release: Targeted release for April 16th, 2004
Objectives: Automated game startup from the FTJava signup page,
UNSC Beta ships,
AntiMatter Torpedos,
Initial release of fighter groups,
New Israeli steath hull technology,
plus other features
