Boxer refers to the primer design does it not?
Berdan primed (single hole and different anvil
design) vs Boxer Primed (dual hole and the anvil
as part of the cartridge and not integral to the
primer).
A quick Google search yielded

So the early Boxer-Henry .45 brass was coiled and
rolled, not drawn. That's the reason for it's
tearing. Interesting.
