If you peruse a recent copy of Jane's Shiny Guns you'll find a
number of 13mm-ish revolvers from the former Soviet Union. The big
selling point is the multiplicity of ammo: sabotted armour
piercing slugs, fat plastic bullets, disorienting flash/bangs and
so on.

Also, there is a listing for a 5.45mm revolver shooting assault
rifle ammo.
