[OT] That Royal army question

Ok this probably got answered already but I did manage to 
talk to a friend in the MoD.

And he confirmed that Britain does not have a Royal army
unlike the airforce and navy because of the English Civil War.
It was deemed the Army should no longer belong to the King.
So they ditched the Royal bit.

Just thought I'd let you all know.
