I've always looked at FT and DS/SG as being around Tech 11 or 12. I
always
found these the hardest to design in High Guard, as the all the geewhiz
stuff
was available but the price breaks and mass advantages weren't there.
For
higher Tech you could give a die shift in favor of the higher tech (Tech
14
regulars use a D10 instead of a D8). For FT give the higher tech a
10-20%
bonus in mass (able to pack 120 mass of systems into 100 mass of space).

I've been thinking that DS and FT are basically near-modern tech for
most things. Has anyone done conversions to Traveller Tech Level
13-15--not just for hand weapons, but grav tanks and such?
