The key being as stated ;)
For this kind of scenario you may want to "tweak that a little", give
the
targets lots of shifts, but make it possible for a good/lucky shot to
catch
one... say this represents tossing grenades rather than firing.

We had a lot fewer aliens to start with, when they're that mean you
either
have to give the troopers time to shot them or be willing to lose a lot
of
troopers and/or cut down on the number of aliens ;)

We've played SG and FMA with it. FMA game we ended up with 5 individual
aliens vs 10 humans (who buddied up, armoured up, got a tank...). In SG
we
had 2 "squads" of aliens with 3 aliens per squad. That worked out to be
more
than enough vs 4 squads of humans in close terrain, in open terrain 3
(may
be more) would've been better.
