A cheap source of nice *20mm* figures are the plastic soldiers by
Revell,
Italeri, Esci etc. There are Bundeswehr, US and British troops. Around
here,
they are available from most toy and modelling shops. In these days of
globalization, this might be true in Tasmania as well.

They are smallish compared to 25 mm, but nicely detailed and with good
anatomy. Painting them requires a bit of special technique, but nothing
