This depends entirely on the armour material, the bullet, and the angle
and strength of the impact. So you could say "any of the above".

Some thoughts:

- Present-day body armour is usually carried in a textile vest or
consists of layers of kevlar etc. A hit could result in a frayed spot
of cloth
- The zone of the hit could be burnt, if it was a laser or explosive
grenade.
- Metal or plastic armour is likely to deform into a small crater with
raised edges
- Hard ceramic materials are likely to shatter, either into a few
shards or a spider-web like pattern.
- The material could shatter like older windscreen safety glass: lots
of small pieces held together by an inner layer of foil or wiremesh
- Metal armour plates hit at an angle could be bent like car fenders in
an accident
- The "bullet" may still be stuck in the armour

If this is for a modelling project, take you pick of what looks cool.

Greetings
