So if your LT is paying attention, you may get to use the SGT's
leadership instead.  Of course, the LT doesn't always listen.

1. (They're smart enough to recognize a good plan and use it). If the LT
is a 3, maybe the leadership stays 3 regardless (too clueless to
recognize a better plan or too scared to look vacillating to implement
it even if it is recognized as better).
