Hi all,

A while back, someone posted this URL to the list:

http://jtzone.net/surdu/article/0002/1

... about using a pizza box as the base for portable skirmish scenery.

I just finished the first of two pizza-box-based units for 25mm FMAS,
and
it looks pretty cool. It was also dirt cheap, basically free, which is a
nice bonus! Portable, too.

I started with a 14-inch (Large) pizza box, reinforced the corners, then
added several rooms and stuff for a spaceport lower-levels area. My
colour
printer provided hazard striping, warning signs & labels, and signs for
the businesses. The unit I just finished as a large bar, the "Dead
KraVak"; a MacroHard office, a station systems/life support bay, and a
small cargo storage area.

The second box is going to have a large partially-open cargo bay in one
half, and a complex of small shops and stores in the other half,
arranged
down a narrow alleyway.

I spaced the doors and hatches so that the sections will fit together in
any layout; not that this is an issue with only two units finished, but
adding more is as simple as deciding to order pizza again! Aside from
the
pizza box, the rest of the material was just cardboard I had already,
and
the Photoshop work from my printer!

Photos soon, I promise, along with an article on my website.
