Use either a domed button, large flattish bead or bean bag pellet for
the
body. They use thein brass rod to make the antennae (poking up from the
body) and the frame for the legs (bending half way down for the "knees".
To
make it look like the legs of substance either put on a sheath of rubber
or
cardboard or thin balsa or hollow out some plastic rod. This should give
you
something like

   /  |  \
  /   |   \
  |   |   |

I've left off the sheath on the legs and the central leg coming out of
the
plan of the page and thus you can't see the "knee".
