MRLS is the modern day equivalent; heavy, unguided missiles used as
artillery.

SG doesn't directly translate SLAM across from DS.  Apply it as heavy
artillery (3"radius template) firing GP rounds. 
If it's actually on the table, treat it as arriving on the same action
it's
called.
