Plus, IR is a fairly wide part of the spectrum. As with visible light,
you can reduce the emmision in some parts at the cost of enhancing it
in other parts (just like something that is black in visible light may
reflect/radiate at IR or UV wavelengths). If the IR sensors are
narrow-band, the cammo could be quite effective.
