No, no, no.  6mm for real battles.  6mm for skirmish (1mu = 3 meters in
scale, 1cm on table).  6mm for everything in between.  See how much
simpler
that makes things?  One scale for all figs, one scale of all terrain,
one
scale to rule them all...ahem.

You *can* use 15mm for skirmish (1mu=3m=1") if you have plenty of room
and
don't have 6mm figs for some reason.  And don't mind artificially
compressing weapon ranges.  And have plenty of time to paint.  And lots
of
money (this doesn't really apply, though, because you'll spend the same
amount of money.  The 6mm gamer will just get 3 different platoons for
the
money a 15mm antiquarian will use for a single platoon).
