I just had a vision of a group of Daleks grouped by
a street, along comes a trash truck, it grabs one*
and tries to empty it.

* The trash trucks in our area have a mechanical 
fork that the operator can use to pickup and empty
the can without leaving the vehicle.

Hmmm I cannot really see camouflaged Daleks hiding in the tree line
whispering to each other over the next attack plan :)
