You're right of course. My bad math. Further argument against SUMS,
though.
Interceptors are designed to take out enemy fighters before they can
fire on
ships and, as the argument has been going, they are possibly less
effective
than SUMS over multiple turns. Therefore SUMS as conceived is
underpriced by
roughly a factor of two.
