INGREDIENTS:
Thin White undercoat.
Thin Red acryllic.
Black fibre pen.
Humbrol or other relatively thick enamel Yellow paint.
ditto Green.
Scalpel
Thin needle.
Brush, thinners (turps and water)

Undercoat figure.
Paint Red.
Wait till completely dry.
Paint Yellow.
Wait till completely dry.
Now wait a bit longer.
Paint Green.
Wait till just about dry-ish, should be slightly tacky.

Using the needle point, scrape away the green paint in lines, leaving
narrow
yellow bands.
Using the scalpel, scrape away all the thick paint in lines, leaving the
thinne
st
possible while still visible( <.05 mm ) lines of red.
Use dots of black in appropriate places using fibre pen to darken up
places.

What the world needs is a good Tartan Paint....
