Is 1/300 compatible?

I am after some new fighters for my space nazis (standard GZG NSL,
painted
black, name in white on forward upper section, flag with red background
on
forward upper part of engine section).
I am wondering if 1/300 scale WW2 fighters are the same size as the FT
fighters? Presumably someone on this list knows the answer to this one.

Please note: The concept for my fleet came from a series of very bad
jokes
after someone else was forced to use some of his historical stuff for
DS2
after his sci-fi stuff went and got lost. It is nothing to do with
anything
in my mind.
