a) if I were a patrol craft fighting pirates, I'd want to let my
buddies know where I was
b) I'm establishing x/y coordinates so I can give initial
positions.
BTW, if anyone else cares to play through this scenario, I'd be
interested in hearing how it turns out--balanced?
