A leader doesn't make the soldiers shoot better, move better or pick
targets 
better but he does coordinate all these things by directing fire,
enforcing 
fire discipline and causing the unit to move together for a purpose they
ALL 
understand. Yes, i think that effectively that moves your further and
faster.
