I did mine on quarter-sized coins. One Canadian 25-cent piece and one,
errrrrmm... leftover... from an old bachelor party...

The flat base takes glue like a treat and gives it stability on the
coin. They run a little lower than the ones on proper bases, but I
think the center of gravity is too high for the standard kind.

Btw, I've seen lots of Centauri ships, mostly painted bright (often
metallic) purple. Who can tell me an episode where they ever looked
that gaudy; I remember there being exactly one shot like this, but I
think it was the lighting. Mine are redish-brown paint (Partha paint)
with three layers of purple ink glaze and gold trim. It's an incredibly
easy paint job, and it looks exactly like the Vor'chan (or Demos, AOG
put them in 2nd ed) shown in the 5th season battle scenes *and* the
all-important beauty shot over Centauri Prime. This style also gives
the fighters the same look as in the scene (seen in the 3rd season
titles) where they bank into an attack run on a Narn CA.

Sorry, pet peeve *and* a design issue.

Devolution is very real to me.
Whenever I hear the "Odd Couple" theme, I get this image of Dennis
