Here's 2 solo scenarios:
http://users.mcmedia.com.au/~denian/ft/webgames/captain.htm

With regard to a random action plan try the following idea:
Aspect to target:
Aft, max turn towards target
broadside aft - max turn towards target
broadside fore - 2 point turn towards target
fore - d6: 1;1 point left, 2-5; strait, 6; 1 point right.

Speed difference:
>=4 difference; accel/decel max available to match
<=3 difference; 1; -2 speed, 2; -1 speed, 3-4; no change, 5; +1 speed,
6; +2 speed.

Weapon fire: max weapons at closest target.

This should give enough variable to make an entertaining battle.

Anyone have good solo scenarios? And/or a "random action plan" for your
opponent's ships?
I want to have me and my ten-year-old cooperating against a non-player
antagonist.
