Hm. Well... that's kinda why the cost for all fighter types, *including*
the Standard fighters, are listed separately from the ship components
(particularly the fighter bay) in the Mass and Points Cost Table on p.

The big confuser is the Assault Transport on p. 42, which for some
reason
*does* include its landing shuttles in the points cost!
