No, an M-60 would be a MMG.  A SAW is a Belgian 5.56mm number--M-249? 
Something like that?  Everyone calls 'em just "SAWs".  SAW is fairly new
concept--much like old Light Machine gun that got replaced with GPMG
(MMG on a bipod).  A Ma Deuce is an HMG in any sense of the word.
