Good point.  I hope no one took my earlier comment as an invitation to 
discuss the platform issue here on this list.

Sorry, I haven't had any time to look at the site lately (its been about

6 months since I last looked).

Home grown mostly.  The save files are text based (with comments thrown 
in by the application) to make them readable directly by people.  Tags 
are used for all the data, but it's most likely different from those 
previously suggested by the FT Computer list.  I'll hold the discussion 
on these matter down to the above to keep from boring anyone on this 
list.  If there are any more questions I take it over to the computer 
apps list.
