MLP?!? (was Re: [SG and DSII] Question about Infantry Walkers)

Is an MLP the same as a SLAM?  Also, a size 2 walker?  I have only the
basic
DSII, which discusses only Class 1 infantry walkers and class 4/5 Combat
Walkers - is the Class 2 a "ouse rule"
