As a Jonathan  myself, we have a dislike for the letter 'h'... an 'o' is
not
popular either, because the name is Jon,

    not  'John',  not 'Jonathon', not 'Johnathan',  or 'Johnathon'

: -)

I've never seen it as Hon before.
