What's the Battle of the Line?	[If this is a B5 thing, then no, I
haven't seen much B5. I'd like to, but I also want to see it more from
the beginning... that's the part that hurts.]

First thought: **Bigger?**

Second thought: Well, OK, so most of SW is fightercraft... but there
were a *lot* of Star Destroyers. [Of course, once Lucas gets done with
the movie, there'll be a bunch more MonCals, too... ILM is adding them
in, kinda like they're digitizing Jabba and adding a scene between him
and Solo in the first movie.... ^_^ ]

Y'know, I've got a feeling I've seen this too, but we're talking 10+
years ago here....

Well, the Last Starfighter doesn't work... a bit improbable even for
Silent death, I'd imagine. Can't think of any others, at least in
filmed movies... Anime, though, has a bunch, as GZG pointed out in More
Thrust. Gunbuster isn't that good for "organized" actions, as you never
get a fleet composition for the human forces and they tend to get their
butts whupped good anyway. Haven't seen LoGH, so I can't comment... oh,
Legend of the Galactic Heroes.	Er... there are a bunch of battles with
mecha, if you want to classify them in terms of starships... which, for
some of 'em, wouldn't be far off. One very nifty scene, in Gundam 0083,
had one of the big suits [can't recall the name, Gato's I think, if
you've seen it] fly up to a destroyer [the suit was considerably
bigger], plant its main cannon on the bridge, and fire. Very nifty
maneuver. ^_^

Er... other anime space battles... lessee... lots with mecha, of course.
Fewer with actual ships, or at least large numbers of ships... the end
of Nadia had a nice fight... Irresponsible Captain Tylor might have a
few, but I doubt it... ... ... nope, coming up blank.

Alternate idea: anyone know some naval history? We could probably come
up with some good battles from WWII... anyone?
