[GZG] Sikorsky high-speed helicopter (Was: Game designer Charles S Roberts passes)

Very sexy. One of those developments where the basic ideas are not new
(Co-ax rotors? Kamov has used the configuration for decades. Pusher
prop? The Lockheed Cheyenne first flew in 1967 and still looks
futuristic), but modern materials, electronics, and software make all
the difference.

should inspire a 1/300th VTOL design from Jon T. It has a coaxial
counter rotating rotor system along with a pusher prop.
