Stupid vacchead idea, but how about 'official' national add-on kits?
Just
enough to change/regularize the silhouettes, these could be small run,
'spensive items.

Have to be, as they'd be almost as difficult sculpts, though I'd assume
the
castings would be far smaller.

Only other idea with which I can come up would be 'official' paint
guides,
with shading substituting for the extra rails, fins, blisters, and boxy
ridges I imagine for the kits above.

Returning to the quiet of space, now.
