Greetings, listers,

No doubt in the next few hours or days various After Con Reports
will trickle in. Or, at least, I hope they do. I will be writing
up one as well as soon as I get the chance. But in the mean time,
I just wanted to let you all know that GZG-ECC VI is now officially
over and plans are underway for ECC VII. This year we had less
attendees than last, but part of that was due to the economy, and
part due to a significant fraction of our usual con-attendees
being called away to active duty (Ted Arlauskas, Los, Magic, etc).

I'd like to thank everyone who was able to make it out. Roger
B West even made it from England, and that was a treat to meet
him. He should be winging his way back across the pond as I type.

I want to thank Jon and Jerry for everything they did to help
organize and make the con work so well.

And a BIG thanks to those who supplied prizes for the con (Jon T
of GZG, Tony of Brigade, Bill of B.R.Snasis, Carl Sheu for next
year). Many a person walked away very happy with some of the
great items they got.

The weekend was fun, and wish you all could have been there. That
would have made it more fun. Maybe next year?  ;-)

PS: the (in)famous Quote Board saw plenty of entries this weekend,
and I'll be working on transcribing those later this evening for
everyone to read
