Hey Chris, 

Oddly enough, I wasn't going to suggest a Narn 
bat. No sense denting good wood on some 
sort of hard rock-like material. ;)

I just read Cloud Castles and would now like to 
find the prequels myself (in the bargain bin!). I 
thought it was kind of interesting, in a kinda 
odd way. You get the impression reading it that 
a lot of the exposition of certain characters was 
conducted in prior work.
