WWII recce units in british service had
Recce Troop:
4 Armored Cars, 2 sections of 3 Carriers
3 Recce troops and an Assault troop made up a Recce Squadron. 3 Recce
Squadrons had an HQ troop with 6 mortars, 8 AT guns, and additional
maintenance and commo assets.
