Color Changing Paint

Subject: Color Changing Paint

A while ago someone on this list wondered about the color changing paint
used on cars that goes from one color to another depending on the angle
you
view it. The prices for that stuff was really high though I thought it
would make some neat bioships.

On a quick trip to Michaels craft store this weekend (last minute
supplies
to finish my fleets for GenCon) I saw that Krylon has a new product in
their
craft line called 'Mystique Color2Color'.
http://krylon.com/product/mystique.asp

For $14.99 you get 3 spray cans, a black base coat, a color coat, and a
clear top coat. It comes in 3 color sets:
* Blue/Purple - Shifts from cyan through purple to warm red
* Silver/Green - Shifts from silver through the full range of greens
into
purplish blue
* Magenta/Gold - Shifts from magenta through red, orange and gold into
yellow

Anybody tried this yet? Anybody want to?

The Blue/Purple might look good on some Not-Shadow Sa'Vasku and the
Magenta/Gold could work on some of those old Tholian minis I have from
SFB.
Plus I have a bunch of old Brood minis from Silent Death that might just
look killer in this stuff. Even you ground pounders could have some
interesting 'stealth' coatings on your armour to show how they blend
into
their surroundings.
