[SG] Rifle only squads

I'm pretty sure this came up a few months ago, but can't seem to find it
in the archives.

A squad with only rifles only rolls one die. It can only win on one die,
and therefore can only get a suppress result?
Is this true? 

It just seems odd.

Can anyone recap the lists view or point me to the right archive thread?
