Yes, ADB will be the publisher. Hopefully this will be similar in
achievement to Gurps WWII which is IMO the best of the recent WWII RPG's
or
Transhuman Space. (sadly dissapointed by DP9's Gear Krieg though I like
some
of the minis. Though I doubt it will create as many books as Gurps
Traveller
(though I never expected that line to continue as long as it has)

from http://www.sjgames.com/poweredbygurps/
"Some PBG books will be released by companies other than SJ Games!"
"PBG corebooks will be more self-contained"
"PBG books will generally be optimized for their specific setting."
IMO, a response to D20 and the reaction to the creeping number of books
required to play some Gurps games. And like most things Gurps it should
be
easy to change/adapt to other settings/rules.

Speaking of which, anyone buy the new DecipherTrek yet? I really liked
the
LUGTrek Andorian book and it sounds like the new rpg is more open-ended.

Though it looks like Gurps PD playtesting is being done by ADB with no
access to Pyramid Subscribers yet : ( At least Uplift 2E is currently
in
playtest.

ADB's page for Gurps PD:
http://www.starfleetgames.com/gpd.htm

- Kevin (who finally's painting his Ogre minis for Ogre/DSII use \^o^/)

For on topic, has anyone played a GZG universe rpg? Would be similar to
Traveller IMO which would work well for playing the campaign with.
