I've actually put some thought into what to do about fighters to
penetrate
enemy zone ADS. The last couple of games, I've generally just stuck
with
ground artillery, but I've often thought of the idea of having a few
fighters equipped heavily with GMS/H forming a first wave. If they have
ZADS, the fighters fire those missiles en masse from outside the ZADS
range.
The ZADS' effectiveness will be diminished against missiles, and if it
penetrates the ADS itself, the ECM is basically nonexistent. If the
missiles successfully destroy the ZADS, the fighters can fly through
without
much further worry.

Once this first wave of fighters has managed to destroy or at least
severely
dampen the enemy's ZADS, the next wave, armed to the teeth with DFO, can
come through and carpet bomb with a fair amount of impunity.
