The game TomB ran at GZG ECC had a platoon (for the OU this meant six
teams plus command squad) on each side (plus reinforcements at the end),
enough terrain that you could usually move from cover to cover, and took
about 3 hours.	However, the OUDF side wasn't interested in making a
real fight of it--just get to the objective, grab it and withdraw.  A
determined assault would take longer.

Bear in mind that a 48x72" table is 480x720 meters--not really that much
space.	You could do a company attack on a platoon prepared defense, or
something about that size.  You might also be able to scale up by using
6mm figs instead of 15's or 25's--they have a smaller footprint (and in
fact they're pretty close to matching ground scale).
