The Australian release of Nadesico has only 6 tapes. I think theyre
realasing them with the same episode-per-tape content of the DVDs, which
is
great...

Having been into anime for nearly 15 years, I think I could suggest a
few.

There is always the original anime that started the hobby in a big way
in
america. By this I mean the macross saga. Macross was actually 3
different
series wrote into one storyline through the dubbing to make a series
that
could fit into americas TV scheduals.

Then there is the orguss series (these two are mainly for mecha fans
though).

Then there is the sequels for both (actually, I think there was several
sequals for the super dimentional fortress macross, but never mind).

As for the lgend of galactic heros, I beleve someone was actually doing
a
version (dubbed or subtitled, cannot remember). I say this because I
found
something about it on a website once (don`t ask, I can`t remember).

There is also the sol bianca series (well 2 films, so far).

One of my favorites is gunbuster.

And starblasers.

By the way, there is 12 tapes in the martain successor nadesco series
(just
had the last one).

If you can find it, a very good one is the gall force series.

One of my favorite animes is the gundam seires, just for the stories
(not
aimed at your normal kids), and the animation, especially in the OAVs.

Just some of my favorites, anyway.
