Indeed. It's more a matter of suggestinga shape than actually painting
it. All my NAC troopers have a union jack on their shoulder. People get
very annoyed at that. Thing is, it's not actually painted _correctly_,
it's a bit simplified and looks LIKE a union jack enough not to warrant
further investigation ;)

Similar tricks apply to painting banners for 15mm french napoleonics
etc.
