Okay Oerjan i think i see what you are getting at.

your "defence" modifier ie. old stealth plus ECM.
Is a single die independant of vehicle size when fired at by missiles
and is a dice based on size - "defence" for fire from directed weapons.

A better way (IMO) is too combine Stealth plus ECM stealth, and
make ECM a seperate chassis option.

This way a lo-tech force would take an "unshielded" tank and give it
a PDS to protect against missiles.

The hi-techs on the other hand would have tanks that are protected
against missiles by inbuilt "shielding" and then depending on how
hi-tech they are, they can further improve the defence by additional
layers of shielding.

This way you can better balance the defence/stealth cost since you
would no longer be balancing an option that gave both a constant
and a variable improvement.

Cheers
Graeme

(Yeah i know its sounds like i'm advocating the stealth jeeps is
complained about earlier, but it think this would work since you
would be paying more to stealth it in the first place..)
