I can tell it definitely is. There are a couple of good ways to get
MP3s:

Firstly, ignore MP3 sites. Most of them are useless.

Cruise IRC. There are LOTS of channels specialising in MP3 swapping.
Some
have rules about having to offer MP3s, some don't. There are a couple of
nifty scripts around that help with the process.

Get Napster http://www.napster.com My SO swears by this as being the
best.
It's a program designed purely for swapping MP3s. It'll save you a HEAP
of
time.
