In FTFB1, you cannot use the extra endurance burn to leave a dogfight. 
I 
believe you can only decline a dogfight on the initial fighter movement 
phase.	This helps if you wish to attack a ship for example versus a 
dogfight, except the opponent gets a free parting shot at you.	Of
course, 
you can modify this to work as you like.
